Cineffable was there...
 A CAMERA OF OUR OWN
In the framework of the 40th anniversary of feminism, Cineffable attended the conference on 13 March at the Forum des images : « When women take hold of the camera: history of practices and theories of representations ».
Regarding independant production and distribution practices, this was the opportunity to remind of the necessity for women to get organized and determined in order to respond to the oppression the continue to face. Single-sex events undoubtedly remain a mode of choice in this struggle and the debates of the next festival won't fail to demonstate this...

 MIRMAIDS BAL - 10th Aquafolies
Our annual, and now inevitable, rendezvous at the Aquafolies organized by the Paris Aquatique association took place on 14 March. An unlikely team to start out, that grew as the afternoon went on and courageously braved the waters. The year's specialité, hands down, is still undeniably 'dressing the couple' on the floating mat: grandiose!
In the end, was it the cheerfulness, the athletic perfomances out the enchanting voices of our mermaids that won the judges over? Who knows! One thing is certaine, Cineffable came in 1st place for this 10th edition and our joy is as great as the achievement: IMMENSE !!!
