Beverley Palesa DITSIE & Nicky NEWMAN

Besides her well-documented career as a human rights activist, Beverly Ditsie has worked in the television and film industry as a director, producer, presenter, actor, and voice-over artist. Ditsie has also contributed as a writer to various publications such as Curve and Outright. Simon & I is the first documentary she has directed.

South Africa native Nicky Newman is filmmaker and photographer. She has a degree in Journalism, Media Studies and an honours degree in Psychology from Rhodes University. She founded the production company See Thru Media and has produced, directed, shot and edited many documentaries, educational programs, short films and music videos.
