A young woman enters an (almost) deserted pub late at night. In a corner there are two obviously exhausted waitresses sitting at a table and staring at the unwelcome customer. The young woman feels threatened by their aggressive looks. Tensions rise until a physical confrontation seems inevitable. But the customer takes the initiative and deflates the situation using unexpected means. "Open" is a short film about a long story: about the possibilities of love, three women, chance and the omnipotence of fear and danger.

Charlotte Siebenrock Charlotte Siebenrock est née en 1962 à Berlin. Après des études d'art dramatique, elle travaille à la fois devant et derrière la caméra. Entre 1997 et 2000, elle écrit et met en scène des courts métrages pour la télévision. En 2000, elle prend la tête du département casting de Grundy UFA TV Production. « Open » est son premier court pour le cinéma. Born in 1962, Charlotte Siebenrock studied acting in Berlin. Since 1984 she has worked both in front of and behind the camera. Between 1997 and 2000 she wrote and directed fictional television shorts. In 2000 she became head of the casting department at Grundy UFA TV Production. "Open" is her first short film for the cinema. |
