Tasnim vit dans une communauté bédouine du Néguev pratiquant la polygamie. Une visite surprise de son père lui fait prendre conscience des normes conservatrices de la tribu familiale.

Tasnim lives with her mother and siblings in a neglected Bedouin village in the Negev. A surprise visit from her father in the village forces her to confront the conservative norms of the family tribe and the fact that she is no longer daddy's little girl.

Diplômée en 2006, avec une double spécialisation en cinéma et télévision, et en gestion d'entreprise. Depuis, elle a produit diverses émissions de télévision et a monté son premier long métrage.		Born in Petah-Tikva, Israël, in 1980. Graduated from the Tel Aviv University in 2006, Elite majored both in Film and Television and in Business Management. She has been working on several different productions in fields such as production, casting and marketing.

Katherine Scoones est née et a grandi à Sarasota en Floride, l’une des villes les plus ségrégationnistes des Etats-Unis. Ceci influence et façonne la forme narrative qu’elle adopte par la suite pour relater les expériences humaines. Son travail a fait le tour des festivals internationaux de Melbourne à Washington. Actuellement, elle réalise un documentaire concernant les droits humains à New York. Katherine Scoones was born and raised in Sarasota, Florida, consistently ranked one of the top 20 segregated cities in the U.S. Her experience growing up there shaped her storytelling experience in the form of non-fiction narratives about the human experience. Her work has shown internationally, from the Melbourne Queer Film Festival in Australia to the National Film Festival for Talented Youth in Seattle, Washington. Currently, she is pursuing documentary filmmaking in the field of human rights in New York City.

		Ashlee Page détient une licence en études cinématographiques, dirige une entreprise d'édition de DVD, et donne des conférences sur le cinéma. « The Kiss » est son premier film financé en tant que scénariste/réalisatrice et son premier projet avec Sonya Humphrey. Elle a écrit, réalisé et produit le court métrage « Layover », vendu à la télévision aux États-Unis. En 2009, elle reçoit un financement pour son premier long métrage dont le tournage va commencer en 2011. Since taking root in the Aldelaide Hills, Ashlee Page has been working consistently in building her film-making skill. She has a BA majoring in Silm Studies, runs a DVD authoring business out of the collective artist space HeadQuarters Studio, and works as a Film Lecturer. "The Kiss" is Ashless's first funded film as Writer/Director and her first project with Sonya Humphrey. She has written, directed and produced the short film "Layover", which sold to cablea TV in the US. In 2009, she received funding for her first feature film wihch is currently in script development and will begin filming in 2011.

Danielle van Herk is a new filmmaker. "The Reason Behind Me" is her graduate film from International Film School of Sidney. Danielle is passionate about being creative, writing story and making films.

Elle est récompensée en 2007 par LinkTV’s One Nation Many Voices, pour son court documentaire « Green Blue Sea ». Ses talents de scénariste lui permettent également d’obtenir une bourse. Son nouveau film, « Three Veils » est présenté pour la première fois en France, au Festival International du Film Lesbien et Féministe de Paris proposé par Cineffable. Rolla Selbak's body of work spans different genres and mediums, and is distinctly known for its bold, thought-provoking and compelling qualities. Selbak’s previous feature film, "Making Maya", has found a successful niche within the independent film world, and has been screened at film festivals and universities nation-wide. Rolla Selbak was announced a Winner of the LinkTV’s One Nation Many Voices film competition in 2007 for her short documentary "Green Blue Sea", and received the inaugural Women’s Vision Film grant for her screenwriting, awarded by the Faerie Godmother Fund. Irene Zoe Alameda		Irene Zoe Alameda est née à Madrid. Diplômée en philologie hispanique, elle poursuit ses études en Allemagne et aux Etats-Unis où elle obtient un doctorat en théorie de la littérature comparée à la Columbia University (New York). Elle exerce successivement les professions de traductrice, professeure de littérature aux Etats-Unis et en Espagne et enquêtrice au Conseil Supérieur des Enquêtes Scientifiques. Ses travaux sur la littérature et l’art contemporain sont publiés dans la presse spécialisée, et en 2004 elle écrit son premier roman : « Suenos interesantes ». Concernant le cinéma, elle se lance en 2002 dans la réalisation avec un premier court métrage, puis fonde en 2008 la société de production Storyline Projects. Grâce à cela, elle tourne des spots publicitaires, des clips et plusieurs autres courts plébiscités dans les festivals, dont « Uniformadas ». Irene Zoe Alamada was born in Madrid. She graduated in Hispanic philology and went on her studies in Germany and United States where she became a doctor in compared literature theory in Columbia University (New York). She translated to Spanish various novels and poetry book. She has been a literature teacher in various American and Spanish universities and between 2006 and 2009, she has been an investigator in the superior council of scientific investigations (CSIC). Her academic works on contemporary literature and arts appeared in specialised editions and in 2004, she wrote her first novel "Suenos interesantes". Her last book is an artist and criminal essay. Since 2002, she launched herself in the cinema and directed her first short film. In 2008, she created the production company Storyline Projects with which she made several successful short films (incl. "Uniformadas") and ads and videoclips.

Raised in county New South Wales, Lauren Anderson graduated from the Australian National University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Film Studies, English and Digital Video. In 2008, Lauren moved to Melbourne to pursue filmmaking at the Victorian College of the Arts. Here, she made "Love and Other Red Spot Special" and "Vigilant! Healthy! Wholesome!" - films which continue to enjoy international recognition.
