Sini ANDERSON

Touring six months out of every year, Sini Anderson is a Performance Poet, Producer, and Director. Living in San Francisco since 1994, she has been the co-founder and Artistic Director of Sister Spit and Sister Spit's Ramblin Road Show. She has performed nationally and internationally for the last decade. In 2000 the San Francisco Arts Commission awarded Sini Anderson an individual artist grant for her multimedia spoken word show. She has been a resident artist of The National Queer Arts Festival and was the Chief Curator and the Co-Artistic Director for the National Queer Arts Festival in 2001-2002. In 2003 she resigned her position to pursue her own work full time. Anderson was a producer of Nectar, the women's stage at San Francisco's Pride Festival. She is a Board of Directors Co-Chair for the Harvey Milk Institute, and is on the Board of Directors for the Queer Cultural Center in San Francisco.
