Debates and discussions at the 21st Festival - 2009
In connection with the films in the competition, these debates and discussions will provide occasions throughout the festival to comment on issues and events related to the films. The debates will feature film directors and/or other guest speakers.

Bagdam : 20 years: of a lesbian space in Toulouse
The Printemps lesbien Festival in Toulouse celebrated our 20th anniversary in Apris 2009. Now it's our turn to celebrate 20 years of Bagdam. At first it was a venue, Bagdam Cafée. Today it's an association, Bagdam Espace Lesbien, that we give a hats off welcome to at our 21st festival with this discussion/debate.
French Cinema and Homosexuality
Anne Delabre will present the book she wrote with Didier Roth-Bettoni that came out this year called "French Cinema and Homosexuality".
Black Feminism
Round table discussion around "Black Feminism" born from the African-American feminism mouvement, a feminist and political identity which defines the domination of gender without isolating it from racism and class struggle. How can we create Black Feminism in France?
Sexuality and Pleasure
Ladies, let's be honest and frank! Have you always wondered what female ejaculation really is and how to make it happen? Do you want to know how to give your partner even more pleasure? Have you always been curious about using sextoys but have never dared to try? Then don't miss our "Sexuality and Pleasure" session! Come join us on Monday, November 2nd at 3pm for the film screening and at 5pm (free session) to ask all the questions you may have and meet the speakers and participants that are coming especially for you: the filmmaker, as well as other surprises! This will be the icing on the cake of our festival! These sessions will be translated and interpreted in English. |
